Type of a scam Online Purchase
Imagine my surprise when their "investigation" found I did receive the the order! I asked them (Chase) for information about it and they had an invoice (which they would NOT share with me) and listed item after item of clothing/size Large/colors, etc. They also would not share that invoice nor would they give me any further information about the company! They asked if I had contacted the company (Stack) and I said I would if they would give me the phone number. Nope, they wouldn't do that. I asked for a tracking number to no avail as well. I still don't know where this Stack Clothing is from but found one on Facebook that appears to be an overseas company that sells hideous "active" wear for a young crowd. Not a tiny 66-year-old!
My friend who is a post master asked me to get the tracking number because she said the latest scam is fraudulent/counterfeit tracking numbers. Someone had my name and address and credit card number. I use only a limited number of vendors for my business but I do purchase through Amazon occasionally so I suspect that's how my account info was obtained although I don't know for sure.
The charge is back on my credit card now and I will have no choice but to pay for something I didn't order OR receive. I'm just angry and especially at Chase for their handling of the matter.
