Signed up to do some survey work, with legitimate companies. Got an email about being a Mystery Shopper. Filled out name and address info. as asked. I did this because that’s standard with the survey company stuff. I should ah e read more closely who it was coming from! Anyway, within days I received text messages and a priority mail envelope so h check for $985.50 and instructions that included doing a money transfer via a MoneyGram store. By this point I knew it was a scam and didn’t proceed. When I went to block the number from which I was receiving texts from the scammers, I noticed that somehow they had been able to turn on the follow my location. So, not only were they texting and emailing but they had my location. Don’t fall for this!
