Type of a scam Online Purchase
"Hello, I am texting in regard to the Border Collie puppies you contacted
on Google, i still have all puppies available as on my website. I'm
located in Columbus OH and will safely ship the puppy over to you if you
are really interested.
Each puppy goes at $550.00 and shipping fee $150.00 ..
the puppies are akc registered/registrable, they are well trained and
come along with the following;
- Health Guarantee
- vaccination records
- De wormed records
- Microchip-ed registration
- nutrition manual
- traveling crates
- playing toys.
These puppies have very good temperaments, they love to be cuddled and
treated as babies. they don't bark too much and are very smart puppies
to be trained. Border collies are known to be the top smartest dogs and
can be trained to be companions or working dogs.

I knew it was probably a fraudulent scammer when, within 24 hours they offered to ship the puppy via air travel with only knowing our names, address, and nearest airport. They never asked me to complete an application for the puppy. They never asked for a phone call or offered to talk through the process. Within 24 hours of initial contact, they asked for payment and offered to ship the dog to me.
When I asked for their credentials as a breeder, siting their lack of contact info, lack of AKC seal (despite saying that their pups are AKC registered/registrable) and their absence on all breeders directories for all of Ohio, they ended contact with me.
Here is the payment request from the "seller", made by email:
"Here is the Zelle information for the payment. Please type in the
information correctly and let me know when the payment goes through
Zelle email ..... [email protected]
Zelle name ..... Anna Claudia
Reference ..... For Chubby
Amount ..... $700"
Please do be careful with online purchases and fraud!
