We found this website www.standardgermanshepherdhome.com and wanted to purchase a German shepherd puppy. Website has phone number to call or text as (540) 602-5928. Shows many puppies at $800, which includes shipping from Virginia to anywhere. Through text had us wire the $800 and once done, stated they had taken the puppy to the airport to ship him to us. Then a few hours later, we were notified we had to get pet insurance and have special vaccinations of $800 plus $115 for vaccinations. We did not know where to go so the breeder states if we process the $915 to him, he will take care of it. At that point, felt like a fraud, but we did it in hopes that the puppy would arrive. No such luck and then we were contacted that a special crate was needed for $605. Please do not fall for this. Also received call from telephone number stating with “cargo” at airport at (757) 758-5385 location shown as Wakefield, VA. Also received call from telephone number with “pets by air” regarding additional funds needed for special crate at $650.00 from (617) 453-9111 location shown as Cambridge, MA.
