The tactics the scammer used were to come to the house say what needed to be done and that they didn’t want to do it. Leave after thirty minutes of measuring and looking around.

Report back to the insurance company that they did a “dry out” and brought big industrial fans and then were waiting on the customer to complete the work, but the customer would never get back in touch with them.

All the while my mom could never get called answered or messages left returned.

They never did anything and sent a bill for $1569.95 to her insurance…which paid it!
