Still attempting to sell on horseweb.com, using the same phone number for someone named Alyssa. I text the number and messaged via the website inquiring about a horse. A "John Alexander" emailed me about the horse. We set a date to view the horse and a couple days prior to the appointment, he emailed me requesting a deposit to hold the horse. I refused. Same pick up address in Rolla. Google picture search of the horse revealed the exact same picture on another auction site.

The scammer advertised horses on horseweb.com for sale. But you can only book an appointment to see the horses for a deposit of 15% of the price of the horse. The scammer tried to get me to send them money to "hold the horse" $500 which I noticed was a scam. They say they are out of Rolla Missouri and the address they give is not an address. They also will offer to "deliver" the horse to me for $200 which is a joke because it would cost me at least $500 to go get a horse in Rolla plus my time. They do this all to get that deposit and they ask to send through Zelle or Venmo. I have never had anyone legit ask for money up front before seeing the horse.
