Starlife scam

Made contact through a website that I don’t remember the name of. Starlife contacted me through email with concerns (fenced yard, other dogs, was I familiar with the breed, etc) I was so excited to get a puppy that I failed to check them out. Sent $820.00 to Butoyi Hussein for a puppy (Daisy) and shipping costs. Money was sent through Zelle. I had contact with the breeder through email and phone before payment. I received a short video of Daisy playing. Breeder and shipper had different phone numbers. Breeder made arrangements with shipper and that’s when trouble began. Shipper contacted me said due to weather a warming crate was needed. I needed to send an additional $1,689.00 for “crate rental”, stressing that this would be returned to me upon delivery of Daisy. Had already sent $689.00 through Zelle, thank the Lord my bank was withholding payment for of the rest for three days. Then suggested to cancel the bank payment and get an Amex gift card. Anyway, I canceled Zelle payment and told him to ship Daisy to me for the money he had already received since he was going to return the money upon delivery and he would end up with the same amount anyway. He said “no”, I said NO! And haven’t heard from either since.

Scam breeder

We found a Shih Tzu puppy for sale on line and using the websites contact form we inquired about the puppy. We were contacted by text and email even spoke to the breeder. A conversation went back and forth by email. We were asked questions to determine our eligibility to adopt the puppy. After answering the questions it was determined we were eligible. We were asked for our contact information which we supplied. We were then sent via email and call the pricing including shipping costs. We were then told we would need to pay using Zelle and were given the account information to send the money to set up the Zelle transfer. We set up the Zelle account and transferred the $820.00 We were told once the monies were transferred they would start the paperwork required to ship the puppy. The money transfer wasn't completed until 3/16/2022 We were then contacted to let us know the shipping arrangements were being completed and that we would be contacted by the delivery agency with the specific details of the flight and delivery. On 3/17/2022 we were contacted by the transport company. (Swift Up Front Movers). We were directed to use the link they sent in an e-mail to confirm the shipping information was correct. We verified the information on line and with a phone call. A short time later we were contacted again to say that we would need to use a special Electronic Thermal controlled crate which we would need to put a deposit of $1,689 which would be refunded in cash when the puppy was delivered. We were directed to pay using Zelle. Told the shipping co I was not paying through Zelle and the hung up on me. That is when we realized this whole purchase was a scam. We sent several messages and left voicemail for the breeder with no further response.

Absolutely a SCAM

After Searching online for reputable breeders I came across this site. I was curious seeing that they didn't list any location information so I hit the contact us button and sent an email simply asking where they were located? I'm here in Houston Texas. I get back a very generic robotic response from them that had so many red flags in it I lost count. Not only did they completely evade my one and only question, they kept referring to one of the puppies that I hadn't mentioned by name..."sales tactic" and went into a long spiel about their daily routines and how they don't do this for money & that they are retired military and raised 6 kids?!?! As if that has anything to do with puppies... Very impersonal and very robotic= immediate scam! These puppies are never this cheap so my question is if you can't go and pick out your own puppy because they won't give you a location then how do these puppies get shipped to you? oh let me guess they just never get shipped and they steal your money?! this is a complete Nightmare and I feel so sorry for those puppies that are coming out of there... Can you say PUPPY MILL

I order a puppies from this place to and they took the go along agency’s that will send to us but it will us for the crate and now they want insurance money before they send up and is in pitturburg pa and I don’t know to do Ted.
