We are in the market to purchase a Maine C o o n Cat and while conducting a web search found the aforementioned site advertising these cats at what now appears to be below market rates. We were suspicious as no contact information was provided, just a landing page to provide return contact information. They indicated they were in New Jersey (I thought he said "Lind" while speaking with a heavily accented male individual on the phone).
I asked if we could travel to his location to purchase the animal. The man I spoke with was cordial, but speaking in circles. Yes, you could purchase on site, but would require a deposit to hold the animal or to allow for another like cat. He got to the point where he said he would require a deposit prior to us going their facility (only open on Saturdays and Sundays) with no actual address provided.
I ended the call knowing this was a scam.
