I received a phone message and an email saying that they were contacting me about a check that was never cashed. When I called their Billing Department I was told that a blast had gone out and they were trying to confirm addresses. There is no un-cashed check. I told them that I am no longer a patient and refused to confirm my address. While nothing was lost, this seems like a scam. A reputable company, especially a doctor's office, should not be sending deceptive communications.
