starscope monocular is a rip off and they need to be shut down and bring charges against them. i did my own research on these peoples and its not good at all.they have scammed a lot of peoples out of there hard earned money posting a false advertisement and that,s against the law.

i ordered the starscope monocular from them they where advertising about 3to4 weeks ago and never got them and i paid them with my card.i did some research on these peoples and its not good. they have got other peoples with this starscope BS! they have to be stopped right now. Thank You!

The starscope monocular was on a "top gifts" buying list on Yahoo, so I decided to check it out. I went to the website and decided I would order. I entered my credit card information, but then with the amount of up-sells and misrepresentation of the product, I decided to look into it a little further. I exited the website, without hitting "confirm purchase" or anything similar and have not returned. I decided not to purchase. I got an email from them at 6:54am AKST stating "Your order is still open, finish it before we run out of stock." At 7:02am AKST I received another email from them with an order confirmation that they had charged my card. When I contacted them via live chat, they informed me that they refunded the purchase and it would take 5-7 days (possibly up to 30) for my refund to show up on my statement. I would think processing a credit card without the cardholders permission is illegal, but they didn't seem to think so. I save both emails and a transcript of the chat. If they don't reverse the charge I will dispute it with my credit company.
