I attempted to buy shares in an Entertainment offer not realizing that start engine was charging $275 for the service. I believed it was only $40 for the shares. They charged there fee to a Credit Card with No Notice but working with the Credit Company I was able to have it reversed only to have them repeat the transaction 3 months later, this time they refused to reverse it. Basically charging me $275 to buy $40 worth of useless Stock. Please Advise. Thank you. I believe I was drawn in with a free trial promising 10% Bonus Shares. No mention of Fees.

I heard about this company on a podcast and decided to invest in it. They ended up taking more twice what I had wanted to invest.

Start Engine is a site for investors on upcoming new products to invest in. You set up an account to invest via a credit card. This is what I did and opened the account via email. However since I invested months ago I no longer can access my account via the email I signed up with. When I try to login it tells me user does not match. Therefore I can no longer login and can't access my account. I have sent several emails about this problem but the won't address it or give me any answer at all. Therefore I believe my account has been compromised and I can no longer access it so I have lost my investment. They have no phone number for customer service only the email I listed. Seems like a legit company but apparently is a scam.
