I paid 500 for a dog and 150 for shipping through Zelle. I received an email from starwood pet transport stating my pet needed to be in a thermal electronic crate and the fee for that was 1500.00 98% refundable at time of delivery. Asked to be sent by zelle using the name of Yeva Mitrofansky would would not go through, so they emailed me another name Amenia Ross. Zelle would only allow me to pay 1000.00 so transport company told me they have an account with Amex and to go to walmart and purchase Amex gift cards and take pictures of front and back of cards. Then received email for stating that before they could transport the dog the dog needed insurance which would be refunded at time of home delivery, $1980.00 by Amex gift cards, Then received email stating the dog needed shots before transit, another$990.00 for that. I asked if there was additional fees and they replied no there is not. Later in the afternoon when I emailed to find out status, received an email back saying the state of Tennesee an importation License $930, Pet Therapy Certification $930, AKC Certificate of Inspection $840, American Pet Registry Certicate $900, for a Total of $3600 that could be paid by gift cards. I then realized I was being scamed. The called me today to see when I could go to Walmart to purchase 6 Amex cards in the amount of $500 each I told him I was out of money. He told me that if In didn't pay for this I would be charged with animal cruelty which I could be jailed for.
