This individual called our office attempting to locate a current employee of ours. Said he was a state officer just trying to contact him to set up a meeting outside of work. When we asked for his badge number or identification number so that we could verify his authenticity, he became belligerent and stated that they do not give us badge numbers and he did not need to be verified. He then proceed to state that the number he was calling from was not a number we could call him back, that we would need to call the 855 number he gave us with a Florida case number of xxx-xxx, which I have never seen a Florida case number be 3 digits dash 3 digits, but okay.

I may have told him he was very rude and unprofessional, then he started yelling at me that do you know who I am, you do not need to verify anything...so with that I hung up.
