He then postponed because he said his baby had a seizure. I, of course, backed off. The check cleared his bank - Bank of America in Westlake Village. He then said the crane company cancelled - though a crane was never part of the original proposal. He then claimed he needed back surgery. After three weeks of excuses I said I would like my money back and to go with a different company since he could not deliver and this was an emergent need given my home business. He stopped replying to emails, phone calls and then his phone was disconnected. I then went online - which I absolutely should have done more of a search to start - and realized that the reviews I read on his website were all fake. The real reviews were on Yelp and the Contractors Board, HomeAdvisor etc . He has scammed multiple people out of always $7500 and then disappears without ever doing the work. He is a crook and a con-man and needs to be stopped. I have also filed a police report and the detective at Lost Hills Sheriffs is working on the case.
