The scam involves several companies but it started with Mayank Puppies for Homes with a person named Cattery & Geoffrey Mayank phone 817-612-3045 in Texas when I purchased 2 Pomeranian puppies. I live in California so I Zelled them the payment for the puppies on 03/19/20 then the delivery company was introduced. The first company was Matralog Logistics phone 919-283-1227 they started asking for money for special crates, then kept asking for more money due to different fees that were involved & complications due to the situation with COVD-19. After thousands of dollars I was told that the States Animal Welfare was going to contact me. After they did they changed the delivery company to American Sweft Airways again many thousands were requested with everything being refundable upon delivery of puppies. So many excuses then finally when puppies were to be delivered I got a text saying they had gotten into a car accident, they had to keep puppies for 3 weeks to make sure they were ok. I was made to pay for everything. All this time Thomas Barkley from Animal Welfare was calling me & supposedly guiding me through all this. Again puppies were to be delivered now by another company Skylight Carriers & more money was requested & again when puppies were to be delivered I got email saying they accidentally put my puppies with a dog that had measles & my puppies needed to be tested & again I was made to pay. Of course next day I got email stating the tests where positive & puppies needed to be treated & delivery company again asked for me to pay. Through all this Animal Welfare was what they called guiding me thru all the situation but Thomas Barkley was just telling me on how to send more money. I’m embarrassed to say that I sent in about $30,000 with the promise that everything was refundable. At the end I refused to send anymore money & I had to be hospitalized for everything that all this caused me & even though I told Thomas Barkley that I was in the hospital he due to slight heart attack he was still texting me to send in the money for the treatment of the puppies. I was hospitalized for 3 days & he was still persistent. When I told him that they were not going to get another penny from me he got really upset & pissed off. He kept wanting for me to send the money to Tynesha Kemp. Thomas Barkley was really mad & till today he doesn’t return my calls or texts & I still haven’t received puppies or any refunds. These people don’t care at all what they have caused me. I’ve lost all my life savings, they left me in ruins, they affected my health & I’ve lost trust in most people!
