A man knocked on my door stating that they had extra driveway sealant from a job they had done that day and that they could sealcoat my driveway for $1.00 a square foot. They asked me to write a check out to their "boss" not the business (Statewide Sealcoating). They also told me that they would leave paperwork explaining the 5 year warranty. They up and left suddenly 15 minutes later after they had sprayed some of the driveway. They did not leave any paperwork or anyway for me to get a hold of them so I immediately canceled the check. They came back the next day and finished but left again without any communication at all (I was not home).

They called a day later asking for money, refusing to give me any paper work telling me they would email it. Still haven't gotten it. The driveway immediately started to deteriorate from improper cleaning and application of the sealant. When I pushed them they said they would come out after I paid them. I used Venmo to pay them.

Now they are claiming they did not get paid, they will not send me a receipt or warranty and they so far have not shown up to re-seal the driveway.
