The scammers placed an order from our website and the web platform warned us about high risk fraud alert due to the address of the credit card used and the shipping address were different as well as the IP address of the location the order was placed at was different. The payment attempt was tried through different credit cards. Upon recieving the fraud alert, we asked the customer to cancel the order but instead of cancelling the order, they went ahead and placed another order from our ebay store. They opened a false claim to get a replacement product. We recognized the phone number and the shipping address and reported to ebay. And they came back and made another order to be shipped to a different address using a different email. We checked the email and company name through a verification site (trust pilot) and found out that they were doing charge backs on different accounts they use to buy and re-sell products to scam businesses like us.
