I had been filling out data entry applications on a job seeking platform. Recieved an email from [email protected] about my application and if I was still interest. Responded and was given a interview quiz and assessment. Day or so later asked if I was interest and when responded was sent as offer letter from Stem Cell Therapeutic. Told to contact my new supervisor for more information. Sent a check to purchase the secure data entry software. The payment did not work so I was asked to purchase Apple Gift Cards to pay for the amount, which totaled $1550.

An email came in from Stem Cell Therapeutic (stemcelltherapeutic.org) under Stephanie Michaels for a remote position leading with interest in my application but upon reflection an application was not submitted. This casted suspicion that information was gathered from companies like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor etc. An assessment and work form was submitted for completion to review if my candidacy would stand out. The response was received next day from [email protected] stating they needed to fill the role asap. There was no interview set or conducted in the process.

A Matthew Peterson contacted me out of nowhere. I thought it came from a job fair I recently attended so I didnt think much of it at first. He asked if I was interested in a data entry position from Stem Cell Therapeutic (stemcelltherapeutic.org) so I emailed back with yes. He emailed me a questionaire and an assessment to complete. I did both, but it was not anything besides my name, email, phone number, and address. NO DL, or SSN or banking info requested. Then I got a text stating I got the job and to please accept the job offer email. After I got the "job offer" it began to look suspicious so I searched it up and it appears to be a scam as it is supposedly a new website. I googled the address and that address belongs to a cybersecurity company.
