We applied for a $5,000.00 loan. In order to qualify we had to pay via Amazon gift cards $450.00 in fees. When it came time to collect for the loan, the money didn't come through. When I tried calling the phone number back to inquire, it said "it is not a working number. Check number and try again."
So, we're out $450.00. I'm not happy as that amount is equal to a tuition payment for our daughter in college.
