My original landlord passed and her son became executor of the property. He lives in texas so after a few years he hired a property manager (Sterling Property Management). I was making automatic withdrawals with him so when he set the auto payments to Sterling property i thought nothing of this. As of the beginning of November; the property was sold to NAME. I have called Sterling Property Management many times and they have never responded to my messages. On December 6th they tried to withdraw the rent from my bank account and an additional fee they have been charging for a program called Appfollio and the fee is $2.49. I stopped the Rent charge at the bank and it's being returned but it still costs 35.00 dollars for the stop plus the added fee above being charged. Their phones are automated so it's impossible to speak to anyone and find out why they are still charging on a property they no longer manage.
