I hired Steve as my contractor via Thumbtack.com for my complete home remodel. I paid him half of the bid as the deposit and signed a contract. His communication was horrible. He lied about having the plumber and electrician lined up. He lied about how long it would take and when I asked him for a refund he refused. The address he has listed for his business is an empty lot. All the other addresses he doesnt live at either. He has his self employment listed under his business name which is Miller Construction and Remodeling. He has "reviews" that I believe are false and when I got a hold of his family members they told me he is conning others out of their money aswell and there are several others that he has done this to.
