Type of a scam Online Purchase
We had several texts and emails with him. We arrived in El Paso and got a hotel room. We then began calling him and texting him with NO response! We then drove to the location "9068 Socorro Rd, El Paso, TX 79907" This turned out to be an empty building next to the El Paso Animal Services building which was closed due to Covid-19. The building (9068 Socorro) had chains on the doors and a security fence around it, appeared to be on city land. We tried for about 3hrs to contact "Steve" with No response. This is why we chose to drive as we didn't feel comfortable sending money to someone who spoke very poor english. We returned back to the Phoenix area. We have been sending a steady flow of emails and text msgs and voice mails to this guy now for 3 days without a single response. BEWARE!!
