We had hired STG Renos Kingston ON Canada, *** ***, to renovate our bathroom: install a tiled shower surround, shower base, faucet & plumbing, new sink incl. plumbing, mirror and light also a granite kitchen counter top. After four months we are left with a bathroom half finished and leaking shower and sink into the downstairs and no granite counter top which was paid for to him by us but never ordered at the local Home Depot store. He was our General Contractor and we trusted that he paid the trades to install the bathroom and granite counter top. We will have to re-do the bathroom completely and until then our tenant is not able to have a functioning bathroom shower or sink. We are swindled out of the money for a $4000 kitchen counter top. Yesterday we proceeded a claim with the Small Claims Courts and hopefully can recoup some of our money. We would like to warn anyone in the area to NOT HIRE this contractor for any type of renovations!
