I was contacted out of the blue by this company who offered me a job as a Financial Officer. I had been applying to many jobs through Indeed.com, so I thought it was legitimate. I was supposed to start August 1, 2022 but didn’t hear anything so I called and emailed the person who had been speaking with me and was informed that they were waiting on paperwork to come back from the Secretary of State for a LLC license and I would be handling $100k of payments from investors. They had me fill out an application for employment and a W-4 tax form and sign an agreement form. The two ladies that I spoke with at the Company had Russian accents and their emails were not very grammatically correct. They would leave out minor words like “the” or “you”, etc. When I questioned further I was told that the job offer had been cancelled and they were going to offer the position to someone else in my area. The ladies names are: Susan Hoff (HR) and Regina Carter.
