Type of a scam Identity Theft
The following month they charged me again. I called the Elder at my church and she assured me that the church had not received one dime from the org in question. When I contacted the org by chat, they did not have a phone and are not allowed to make outgoing calls. hint They insisted that I signed up for service and was upgraded? I asked them if the first 30 days were free why was I charged twice? There was no answer to that. Then I asked about their LA license agreement no answer.
In frustration on their end they would return the 2nd charge since it was so early in the month. I told them I needed to make a fraud report with my bank on Monday? We need to investigate if Streamyard was behind this scam or being used by an id theft ring. I am also going to make a report with the better business bureau. On Sunday morning my inbox contained an email from the company that all funds would be returned? But it may take a few weeks. ??
I plan to still file a ScamPulse.com and fraud with my bank. This company simply gathered my data to create an identity for illegal immigration probably? But at the very least their business practices are low. All they had to say was sign our license agreement in order to signup for service.
Please be careful attending virtual events if you do not receive at least a weeks notice or cannot speak directly to organizer dont go!
