Type of a scam Credit Cards
My credit card company sent me a fraud notice. An $800 charge to my credit card had been attempted by Stripe.com, and I was asked to verify. The charge was fraudulent, the charge was denied by my credit card company. However, they also had to close my card because of this scam/fraud attempt, and have to replace it with a new account.
I had never heard of stripe.com, searched them on internet, and find they are supposedly some kind of payment portal in California somewhere. I could not find a telephone number for them. Their site allowed for a lookup of the charge to try and locate the "merchant" who supposedly submitted the fraudulent charge. This "merchant" came back as "Bleu Environ," which doesn't exist as far as I am able to tell, and of course the contact information for this company was blank on Stripe.com. There was no way for me to contact Stripe.com to report fraudulent use of their "services."
If my credit card company had not been looking out for me, I could have been in a world of hurt with my finances. Stripe.com and Bleu Environ are obviously fraudulent companies and out to sucker a buck or 800 from unsuspecting people.
