I received the same agreement as all the others listed here for student-advisors.com, after I re-read the contract I called my student loan holder and was informed that I would not qualify for forgiveness because I was already enrolled in a program. They got my debit card information and I called and canceled the card right after I hung up with the student loan company.

In the "contract" it states you must email to cancel within 72 hours of signing. I emailed right after speaking to my loan holder. I decided how do I know that the emails are getting read, I mean there is no answer to the email showing your contract has been canceled, so I sent a second email with a read receipt so I would know when it was opened and read. So far the email has not been opened and read. I made copies of the emails I sent for future reference. But I'll be blocking the numbers as they seem to harass people after it's discovered they can't or don't help.

Student-advisors (there is a dash) are preying on vulnerable people with student loan debt. They are claiming they can forgive $23k or X amount of $ of your student debt (federal). They have you pay $x for 4 months then a lower amount after that. It’s a SCAM! I did not move forward but from the other reviews on ScamPulse.com it’s scary stuff. They even changed my fedaid.gov password!
