She just said that she is calling from the "student loan center" and saw that I was applying for student loan forgiveness. She then asked me the amount of my loan and what loan service I went through. When I said I needed to talk about it with my husband, she seemed to get agitated. She then called me recently saying that this is the best student loan forgiveness program and that after I make the monthly payments, my loans will be dismissed. She also said I would only be able to do it if I consolidated my loans. When she gave me the numbers, I felt like something was off and again became frustrated when I told her I was going through a different loan company. I then, blocked her number. I did research her phone number and there weren't any businesses associated with her number. I did apply for the loan forgiveness program through my work and I know they don't need payments.
