I did not respond to the email at all. Email states "[redacted name], it's Christia Schlangen with the student loan debt department. This is regarding your case number 01011. We tried to contact you at your home and did not hear back. Your StudentLoans have been flagged as possibly eligible for forgiveness under the new 2024 guidelines. Your file will remain open in my system for only one more day. Please give me a call Wednesday at (855)-746-7444. We can take your call between the house of 8am-5pm(PST) Monday-Friday. Thank you, - Christia Schlangen."

I immediately googled the phone number because who doesn't want their student loans forgiven? Sadly, it has been flagged as a scam for personal information.

Attempted to scam by means of portending the existence of a fictitious student debt obligation, and asking for the remaining balance that was unforgiven to be paid out
