I was contacted by a company called new education relief that said i was eligible for student loan relief. I was hesitant and began asking them questions. They were able to give me my exact loan balance i still owe, my payments, and my ss#. Im not sure how they accessed this but it did make me think they really were affiliated with department of education because of it. They said if i make 4 payments of 200$ and then 19$ a month until a balance of 1400 is paid that my loans will be forgiven. They emailed me a document for me to sign which did seem very legit. However when i asked them to wait and start my first payment in a couple weeks instead of today they got weird. When i told them i would need to do some research and call back they acted like i was going to miss an opertunity. Immediately i tried to call back as soon as i got off the phone and it wasnt a working phone number. The website seems vwry fake as well and none of the contact information there works.

They call from 870-876-5199, the name that was left was Megan.

She says you can reach her at 501-274-0454.

They say you have to pay a fee to enroll and they need your FSA ID.

I've told them many times to stop calling me.

Here is a transcript of the voicemail the scammers leave every time: "Hey this is Andrew with the student loan relief. I looked at your file and have some good news. Looks like we can remove most of the student loans you have and you won't have to pay any of your monthly statements. Call our office, the number is 866-852-7386, again that is 866-852-7386. Thank you very much."

The phone calls saying they are student loan relief and under multiple companies. They harassed me and told me to kill myself when I told them I knew they were a scam. They are also texting me to have me call multiple numbers.

I keep getting phone calls from this saying she is my student loan counselor. My student loans go through Fed loan and Navient (use to be salli may) I have talk to both company's and they do not have individual counselors. The thing that scares me is she has a lot of my personal information. I have told her to take me off of the caller list I have blocked the number than they call on another number. All the information I have is their phone number (  ) I have talked with this person and it comes down to me paying them money to fill out paper work to send to federal government asking for relief of my student loans, I called the feds about this and they told me that they do not forgive student loans. So that is when I told this person to quit calling me and blocked her number, but they call on another number now.
