I received a call from someone named Liz at Student Support claiming she could help assist me since I'm prequalified for the updated student loan forgiveness program and possibly loan discharge. She said we needed to go over the details as soon as possible because my status would expire soon. She said to opt out or decline assistance, call 858-926-1749.

A woman left me a voice mail to discuss my student loans. I don't have any student loans, never did. She identified herself as June and said she's with Student Support and can be reached at 8558868997. She said she has me pre qualified for some sort of forgiveness program. She went on to say she would keep my loan status on hold until I contacted her. This is an obvious scam. The number she called from isn't registered anywhere and the number she said to call back is linked to a software company.

There was a voicemail about getting more information regarding student loan debt forgiveness. When I called the number back, I gave them my name, pricing and email address. After they got that information they quickly ended the conversation and hung up. I called back again and started to get suspicious asking questions about the validity of the company and when they got the sense that I knew this was a scam they hung up. I called back a third time and that third time the phone just kept ringing and ringing
