I saw a video ad on Instagram for a product called Body Coverage Perfecter, advertised as an all-in-one moisturizer, concealer, and full-coverage body makeup available in multiple skin tones. Unsure which shade to choose, I ordered two—Medium and Tan—since the site stated returns were accepted. After placing the order, my credit card flagged an international transaction from a company called ATYOYSLASSU, and I noticed I’d been overcharged. I contacted the support email provided in my order confirmation, and although they corrected the charge, it took several weeks for the products to arrive.

When I finally received them, the product turned out to be a lightly tinted lotion with little to no coverage—completely unlike what was shown in the ad. Feeling misled, I contacted their support again to request a return label and a full refund of $44.95. I noticed the company was using two different names—Subsistenceed and ATYOYSLASSU—and had changed my original order number from the confirmation email, making it impossible to track using the new order number. They asked for a photo of the product, which I sent. After several emails, they offered me just $4.00. I thought it was a typo, but they then “increased” the offer to $7.00. I formally demanded a refund, citing a breach of consumer rights under the U.S. Consumer Rights Act of 2015. In response, they claimed to offer $11.00 from an employee’s salary and asked me to accept it. The only company information available was from the mail tracking, which showed the order originated from Massa, Italy (postal code 54100). No additional business details were provided. This entire experience has been deeply frustrating, misleading, and unfair.
