I was looking for braiding hair services in Houston or New Orleans surrounding areas because after the storm a lot of stylish relocated . This particular stylist relocated to Texas but stated she would be in New Orleans. I reached out to her about booking an appointment but her pricing was expensive. She offered me a deal which was half off and sent me the deposit information so I can confirm the appointment. She kept saying I had to pay the full price and stated I would pay partial and the other percentage on the day of service. On the day of service before even seeing her she contacted me via direct message asking for the balance due . I did not send it. When I arrived to the shop there was only a barber cutting hair. She was not there . He offered me to either sit in the waiting area or her rented section. After a few min I called her and she told me I had been scammed . Then offered me an appointment for the following month and she would send me her correct booking information. I declined the services. I’m so upset.
