I had reached out to the company for a dog I saw on their website. I filled out their contact form and promptly received an email. I asked some questions and gave them my phone number to chat more. I received a call and we talked briefly about my questions, she gave me very short answers to the questions and went straight to how I should pay her. This was a little alarming to me as I had already worried about it being a potential scam as it is in Hawaii and I'm in WA. I told her I was busy and would send her payment when I had time. She then called me again twice in an hour asking where my payment was. I had tried to pay her on venmo when it got flagged... This raised suspicion. The name on her venmo is also different than what she told me her name was in the email, it was similar but still different. We couldn't find any other information on this business, but saw it was an "accredited business on bbb" so we came here and saw that its not and found this other review. We also noticed the increase in prices on the website but assumed it was because the dogs we're getting older. There was no contract to sign before payment and no agreements made before she was wanting my money. There's no place to leave a review on the website and one of the reviews has a watermark on it as if it was taken from somewhere else on the internet. I told her we found out it was a scam and she couldn't even defend herself. I'm very upset as me and my fiance have been looking at that dog for weeks only to get scammed. I'm thankful we didn't lose any money though and we caught it beforehand. Please DONT TRUST this lady! There were so many red flags, I think I was just too excited for a dog and I was overlooking all of them.
