A guy named solomon DM on instagram. He asked if I ever heard of sugar daddy. He wanted to be mines and he said all I had to do was be honest and talk to him. He would send me money in return. My first thought was, wow this has never happened. Then I started thinking and re-reading messages bc they didn't make sense. It was like someone from another country was typing the messages. A lot of broken English and misuse of words. I wanted to continue to chat so I could confirm what I was feeling. He asked me to download what's app. I had it on my phone so I installed it from my app library. We started chatting in there. He said this was his number for me only on what's app. I asked him where was he from, where does he live in cali. He asked why was I asking questions. I'm like okay we dont ask questions?? He sends back, what are some money problems you have? How much money do you need right now. I tell him 4k and I need 2500 right now. And this is where he thought I was a fool. He says go to the store right now and get a $100 amazon card and send him the claim code and he would help me with putting the money in my account. I said no, cash app it or send it western union. He said he runs his company account and he couldn't send it directly to me. I had to go out and buy the card. At this point I know for sure it's a scam...once you give someone the claim code they claim the money. So I said I'll buy a $10 card and he could load it. He insisted that it had to be 100. So I told him now you go buy the card load money and send me the code. He told me he was too busy and he couldn't do that. Then he got upset and said...I'm not going to force you okay. At this point I'm like he thinks I'm dumb and would actually do this. He sent me screen shots of a girls paypal showing 2500 and he said he sent that to her. He played the victim and said he was scammed by her. He said he was honest and trustworthy and a god fearing man. I guess that's his tactic to get me to trust him. So I told him off in a long message. I have posted the chat on my instagram page awesomelyamazing. I believe the picture that's on his page is of someone else and not him. Things just didn't add up early on. I uncovered it was a scam within mins of messaging him. Anyone who says they will send you money for nothing is a red flag. Then if you have to purchase a card and add money to it and send some the claim code...its a scam.
