We were searching for a Portuguese water dog puppy online to add to our family. We found the Summertime PWDs website and it listed puppies available at the time for a cheaper price. We completed the online information form and then received an email from Eric King providing more information on the puppy we were interested in and the process. He requested money be sent by Zelle to his wife, Mia King to secure our puppy and then he would send over flight information. He never sent flight information for the puppy. When I called to check on this after not receiving a return email, Eric acted confused and stated he was waiting on us to return from vacation to schedule a flight after the email stated the puppy would arrive June 29th. Since the phone call, Eric(supposed breeder) has stopped responding to emails. The scammer provided a lot of information about how shipping would work, how to pick up the puppy at the airport, and how to care for the puppy after checking numerous times that my wife and I would be providing a loving home to the family. The website is no longer active and gives an error message. According to the ScamPulse.com website, 2 other reports have been filed with similar circumstances, but different names for the PWD company.
