Mason sent an email to me saying a previously purchased ($899) vacation package would no longer be available since the company I purchased it from no longer existed and that as a courtesy if I paid them $571 they would reinstate my package! I complained to him that my package was good for 5 years and I hadn't used it yet due to covid and he agreed to waive the $571. I have this in writing from an email from them. Then I tried to book the trip in the Caymans and was rejected because I am not married and only going with a girlfriend! So we decided on Loreto Mexico after several email exchanges with someone at resgo.net which must be the reservation end of respush.net? and tried to book online. We put the trip off after I was in a cycling accident last fall. Today I get another email from respush.go telling me if I don't pay $571 today the trip is cancelled! I read the email from Mason and she said he no longer works with their company and was not authorized to waive the the $571 fee. THen this scam artist Marsha refused to tell me who her supervisor was or the ceo of the company. I don't think I want to spend money on a lawyer, but I will definitely be reporting them to my credit card company and the FBI. I wonder if anyone has been successful booking the vacation with them.

RESPUSH.net & Fabio T

Fabio T. sent an email disclosing that a previously purchased vacation package would no longer be honored, unless I purchased an additional package through respush.net. After some grievances and brief internet search, it resulted in respush being a scam and with multiple people discussing their loss of funds and inability to redeem their vacations. Upon notification of my concerns and questioning of the original package details, Fabio T. promptly hung-up on me. SCAM

Same exact experience above paid for vacation due to covid could not travel. For Fabio to call saying I have to pay 500 today to renew my contract. They are scammers they shut down elite vacations opened up respush and reselling me my vacation will be getting a lawyer and reporting to Mexico embassy as well as FBI.

I purchased my package with Discover in May of 2018. I could not book a vacation because I had already had one so my intention was to book for 2019. Unfortunately I was not able to travel due to health issues. I was hospitalized 2 times one in which I had to have emergency surgery. I reached out to Fabio T to inform him that I would like to book a vacation for 2020 however as I told Victoria in out previous conversations I do not children so I want to swap out children's booking and book two adults. Fabio was no belittling and disrespectful that I could barely get him to listen. He began checking me like a child and speaking to me in the condescending tone. It was infuriating to have him tell me that he would not help me. He had not even told me at that time that his company took over discovery’s account list. I could not comprehend what he was expecting for me to do. The call ended. That was 2020. Today 12/27/2021 I see an email stating that he terminated my account and will be keeping my funds of $694.84. I had until the end of the day to dispute the termination. I called “Fabio” once again to “dispute” the determination. He tells me now that I can keep my previous account if I agree to pay for another account with him right now costing $500 +. Again this is confusing because i already told him about the children concern and why I couldn’t book in the past. He hushed me to talk over me and told me that that was the only way to keep my account. Very rude, disrespectful and condescending. I got so frustrated I just disconnected the call. He is the worst person on earth.

Same thing here. Purchased from Discount Vacation International paid $1579.00 in 2019, 5 years to use because of covid not able to. Today get this letter saying Respush bought the database and if I want to keep my vacation package need to give them $571.00 for reservation hold.
Tried to make arrangements with Mason their reservation specialist, asking to pay when I make reservations and I get this response from him
Am sorry but I can't.
So please don't fall for their crappie, lying calls like I did.
Hard lesson learned.

Same thing just happened to me! Also paid $1199 for vacations with a five year date to use on 7/2018. This is the email I received today 10/21/2020. I know it's a long shot, but I am trying to find a way to get my money back!

I was foolish & answered over of those calls saying “Congratulations, you qualified for a special vacation...” I bought the 6 day, 5 night $1,199.99 deal for $1,438 (including taxes) in June 2019 with an “open destination, open dated” vacation package (no expiration date) AND an 8 day cruise after attending their timeshare talk while on vacation. I never went on the vacation due to COVID. Fast toward to April 2021 & I get an email saying the original company went out of business & Respush bought them & was handling all their clients. I had 24 hrs to contact them to book my trip, limited to ONE resort in Puerto Vallarta & pay a Resort Fee of $571.00! I’m hoping my credit card insurance pulls through for me.

We are having a lot of problems contacting them going through their customer service and reservation line, 1-800-986-9341), or emails sunwavevacations.com and [email protected]. They never respond or call back.

1. Juy 2019: We were contacted over phone and Cesar Lopez of Sunwave Vacations sold us a vacation package for USD $1,158 by promising us that the initial fee would cover all the costs relating to 2 separate vacations plus one cruise (with only an additional charge of $99 booking/resort fee). They sent us a Certificate over email, and their website sunwavevacatiobs.com looked ok.

2. Carol Powers of SunWave Vacations then contacted us. We took our first land trip and attended the time share presentation as requested. We had to book our own flights and spent one whole day at the timeshare presentation but we kept thinking that it was worth it, as we had paid for 2 more vacations!

3. Upon returning, we tried to contact the company to book the cruise. We were contacted by a new person: Carla Alvarado of SunWave Vacations, who informed us that since there was a long waiting period for the cruise we could take a land vacation instead.

4. We went on line as per the suggestion of a customer service representative and tried to book a land vacation for my son as it says in the attached certificate we purchased that it 'is 100% transferrable and extendanble'

We have never heard back from them after that even though we have attenpted to email and call. They have just stopped communicaing and have disappeared. We are trying to get our money back through our Bank and we want to warn other people of this scam!

I am in possession of the initial certificate we purchased, plus every document and email that I have compiled, in case anyone is interested.

SCAM! Yup, same type of scam here too. Purchased 5/24/2018 for $1199 from Sun Wave Vacation. www.sunwavevacations.com, 800-986-9341. I lost the money.
They are still up on the web. And when you call them, you will be rerouted to another scam vacation company too.

Mason, form Respush.net (department of Resco ?) at www.respush.net, 800-978-0828, x 9206, contacted me recently me to let me know that the Sunwave Vacation is no longer in business. My Sun Wave Vacation contract is voided and is no longer honored, however, Respush is willing to allow me to take the three vacations that I bought originally but only to their specific resorts like Vallarta Gardens, Occidental Nuevo and Matlati Hills for the first vacation. Plus, I have to pay additional reservation and any docking fees for each of the vacation I want to take. The cost ranging from $350+. My original certificate would allow me 5 yrs (2023) to travel but now they say I have till April 2021 and their term and conditions to travel is ridiculous.
Found out that there are many Mexico vacation groups who set up up scam shops like this.
Becareful! Never book any of your vacations when someone calls you on the phone, especially from Mexico when it sounds too good to be true.
Ouch! A big lesson to learn.
