I am owner of Bright & Shiny Cleaning Company located in West Palm Beach Florida. I have had numerous phone calls from irate individuals (from Arizona) claiming my company called them offering free floor cleanings for credit card information. When they refused, the scammers became very belligerent with them enraging them prompting them to google search Bright & Shiny and contacting me by getting my google ad with my Florida phone number. Some, however have fallen for the scam and contacted me saying they have been waiting for me for the free cleaning. I have had threats of being prosecuted along with many choice words from individuals now for approximately 1 year. This is not good for me or my business as well as those who have been victimized. What can be done for this to cease? When I googled Bright & Shiny, I found the above information in Arizona.

Back in November 2017, I received a call that said I was being offered free cleaning for one room of my home to demonstrate the companies cleaning service. I scheduled an appointment a week out. They no showed. I got another call from them, and told them they didn't sound legit as I could not find any company information on the web (I forgot to check the ScamPulse.com first). They said they were legit and would like to show me their cleaning services. I schedule. Then the day off they call to confirm that both myself and wife would be home. I said that was not mentioned to me before, and no my wife was not available at that time. So again they reschedule. The Scorpion Cleaning employee showed up this time. He was not dressed as a cleaning person, rather he was in semi business attire. Within 2 minutes we figured out this was just a sales pitch for a new vacuum. So they misled my wife and I all along. But it gets better as he makes promises on the warranty and on the performance (ie works better than a Dyson). Sadly we fell for the pitch. Within 30 days of us trying to use the vacuum it doesn't work well and smells of burning rubber. I contacted Kirby Corporate and they say there is nothing they can do its up to the company who sold us the vacuum. I called Scorpion Cleaning and spoke to Ryan. He said the return period is only 3 days. Now its even more of a scam. They don't want you to pick up that they are a vacuum sales company, and now they hid this return period fact. I worry that we don't even have an official Kirby product. We were scammed out of our money with no way to return something that is obviously defective.

My son was contacted by phone, the lady on the other line stated the company name was Bright and Shinny we was just looking for a cheap carpet cleaning co. The lady on the phone told my son we were going to get a free carpet cleaning, wow free after he put me on the phone I agreed to have them over to clean my carpet for FREE. (so we moved 2rooms of furniture)

The morning of the FREE cleaning, The sales rep. Eric got out of his truck in a church shirt and tie plus dress slack I had a bad feeling then. I proceeded to listen and watch as Eric demonstrated how to vacuum a carpet, ) good demonstration I must say I was sold because he promise he would come back the following Saturday to clean the carpet after a week of using the Kirby vacuum I would see signs of a new carpet. He never came back nor did he call or show me how to use the vacuum with these hoses and gadgets. When I called the office to cancel my contract and told them to come pick up the Vacuum because their sales rep never came back they told me I could not it had passed the 3day return policy. WHAT!!!!! and they also stated if he did not write it down it was not true. So now I have 2 dirty room never cleaned and paying $3651.00 for a vacuum I fully do not know how to use. BAD VERY BAD Business.
