Furnace repairman lied to me and tried to scam me into buying a new Furnace. He said i had a carbon monoxide leak and even turned off my gas and power ( this was all a scare tactic)... i knew somethibg was wrong because he was only here to do a tune up and regular maintenance but instead he drilled a hole in out pipe and had my husband turn the Furnace up. We have had many maintenance checks over the years and no one had ever done that. We even have a cabon monoxide detector 5 feet from the Furnace. We called other places for a second opinion and they all said it was a lie. Someone came out and double checked and our Furnace was fine. I was also told my the other companies that turning off our heat was illegal.
