Dear Sunrise Oaks.
We are residents at #141 and we have been having issues with the parking situation.
It appears that we are being targeted and bullied. In the last 5 year's vehicles have been towed from my driveway and in front of our home 6 times. We are the only black family in this community. We are Law Enforcement Civil Servant workers, two income household, and victims of this harassment.
When we question why this keeps happening to us it has been brought to our attention that your front office gets a "kick back" from the towed cars however, we are the only ones being towed. Your Staff is bullying us, and the Hispanic/Latino Tow Truck Drivers are racially targeting us.
There are no signs posted that say you cannot park on the streets. For the most part we dont ever park on the streets or in the vacant or vacant house lots. On a daily we witness the Hispanic/Latino communityPya time with no repercussion. Why are we the only ones that have to follow the laws? This kick back has to be illegal!
We have countless photos as proof...
We leave for work just before 6am every morning. Just before 6am, we see even more cars but the tow truck guy bypasses his Hispanic/Latin brothers vehicles and drives all the way to the back of the community to stop and confiscate our property on lot 141.
We feel as though your Staff is trying to make us move out. It's not fair, it's not right. They pass 20 cars and stop at our house only. Something needs to be done.
We can't afford $300-$400 whenever your Front Office Staff feel greedy and wants a kick back with our Hispanic/Latino neighbor whom works for the Tow Truck Agency in #139.
They should tow everybody, not just us. Today alone, I have pictures of 18 vehicles incorrectly parked violating the rules and regulations of the community but my visitors vehicle gets towed.
Lastly there are other issues as well. For instance we have neighbors that have 8 dogs, some viscous animals. Others have had chickens, roosters, and goats. People dump large furniture outside their homes. Your Office Staff harassed us for 6 months even having an attorney threaten us by sending us letters to remove furniture from in front of our home that we didn't have. The Office made the mistake and sent us letters that should have went to 147 and NEVER apologized for the harassment... We are deeply disappointed with the way we have been treated. We pay our rent on time and early, and cause this community no trouble.
