1) The equipment was transferred to a new owner and a new service plan set up for them
a. In other words, same equipment just new service plan
2) There are now 2 accounts (my old one and the new owner's account) for the same equipment (security system and solar)
a. Why do I know this, Sunrun has even confirmed this and I am still receiving statements
3) I can confirm that both the new owner and I are paying for services rendered to by the same Vivint System for the same home
Now how is this not fraud?
I've lost track how much time I've spent on the phone, how many emails, case numbers, and screenshots were exchanged to clear this up. Should I get a refund of $400+ for this, sure but could we simply ensure that these business practices don't continue! It's 2021, invest in the proper IT/Accounting and Billing systems already.
