### B E W A R E ###

I was contacted as someone who had an interest in at-home work/income. I was presented with an opportunity to be a shopper/shipper, which entails:

-Receiving packages, sometimes signatures were required

-Update the dashboard Sunshine had established with package information/status

-Request, print and replace labels on packaging, reseal

-Drop-off parcels to appropriate delivery hub, often UPS

-Update the system with a drop-off status, and watch your bonus bank increase $20/package

I was contracted for one year, was presented with an employee agreement, assigned 2 helpful supervisors, and all seemed legit. Was instructed to provide a W-4 for tax filing purposes. Again, seemed legit. There was a website that helped alleviate any suspicion of the illegitimacy of this company I was so excited to be a part of. The offering was 3 weeks paid vacation after 90 days, paid holidays, M-F, 1-2 hours/day, making $2,900/month, plus the opportunity to make $20/ package bonus for a timely and successful parcel processed. PERFECT, right? Well… payday(11/3/2022) was approaching and October was coming to a close. The number of packages dwindled and then stopped. My supervisor, Daniel White, reassured me that more work was coming and to sit tight. Cool. Now the accounting department sent an email indicating that I would be paid every 3rd of the month until my contract was up and that I would receive a confirmation to notify me the check was sent out. Thursday came and went, no email. Went to log-in to my dashboard account and my credentials were denied. WHAT???? Why??? What is happening??? Immediately reached out to Daniel. No reply. Tried my other supervisor, David Cross. Even tried his personal number through text. Nothing. Reached out to one more contact, Shannon Ford. Crickets. How disheartening. Disappointing. Thought to myself, let’s give it the weekend and see where we end up Monday. Tried Daniel, David, and Shannon one more time via email. Nothing back. Called Daniel and David on their personal lines. No answer, left voicemails for both. I worked 3 weeks for these guys and may never see a dime from them, but I hope this post will help everyone decide to NOT WORK FOR SUNSHINE LOGISTIC LLC!!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!! Don’t waste your time. Was planning on using the money for holidays and the cold months ahead, as hours at work are on the decline.

November 1, 2022

My name is ******* ******, and I live at *** * ********** *** *** **** ********** ** 90302. I recently looked for a remote job where I could work from home. On October 14, I received a job offer from the company listed as Sunshine Logistics LLC. The job is to receive packages, inspect them, and ship them back with a label sent to me from the company. They made me sign a job agreement on October 17, and I signed up on their dashboard registration and sent my California ID on the same day. On October 21, they sent me a W-4 to fill out my tax information, including my SSN. The company seems legitimate, and I had no clue, even today when I wrote this letter, if they were real or a scam.

I began working for them and receiving packages on Oct 22, 2022. The job is simple. They have a website that the employees register on. When a package is on the way, I Accept The Task. Then, when you receive the package, I press the Received button. I inspected the package, took a picture of the package and the packing list, and uploaded them in the space required. After that, I request the shipping label by pressing Requesting Shipping Label. When they send me the shipping label, I download and print the label, and post it on a package after I REMOVE the original label, then ship it through the career service that they provided on the label.

I began to become suspicious when some of the packages were sent to different names but used my address. Another suspicious activity is the fact that I receive envelopes from banks that contain credit cards.

In one occasion, I was told to open an envelope sent to another individual from a bank that consists of credit card, take a picture and uploaded on their site.

Again, it might be my ignorance, not knowing it is their legitimate way of working, but I decided to report to the nearest law enforcement in case something was wrong.

This morning, I called the local Better Business Bureau to get information, and they told me to reach their office in New Jersey, where the company is located. I called there, and they gave me a number for the United States Department of Labor. When I reached there, I was told to go to their website and search the company's name for its legitimacy. I did, and it shows they are registered businesses with Entity ID.

I went to check their legitimacy but couldn’t find any wrongdoing.

The other thing I tried was to call the company directly and ask if I am legitimately working for them. I called, but it took me to a voicemail where you left a message. I left a message and waiting for them to call me back.

In the meantime, I would like to make this report to ensure that if any unlawful or illegal activity that this company does through me, I'm doing it without my knowledge.

Below is the information I have for the above mentioned company.
