I made an appointment for a haircut at Supercuts in Vernon for just a haircut, no additional services. When I arrived, there was no record of my appointment. The signage didn't list the cost of a cut without a shampoo, but that's what I've gotten for years, and I didn't question it. The stylist asked if I wanted a shampoo, I declined. After my cut only, the stylist run me up for a shampoo and cut. I reminded her that I didn't receive a shampoo, and she told me that Supercuts required the charge even If I didn't get a shampoo. This was not disclosed before my cut, and the website made it look possible to get and pay for just a cut. I feel like I was billed for a service I didn't receive and there was no signage letting customers know that the policy changed.
