After reading the other stories on here about the pet scams, my sounds very similar. I too clicked on the website from a search for puppies. The puppies were advertised at discounted price for $800 with an additional fee of $200 for shipping. After signing sending the $1000 through Zelle and signing the agreement, the seller wanted me to send an additional $1400 that would be “100% refundable” once I received my puppy, which all signaled red flags. I told the seller that I didn’t have any additional funds, and he asked what I did have. I told him that I didn’t have any more cash, but that I could use a credit card. He told me to find the cash because the puppie had already been shipped. I stopped communicating and called my bank to report fraud at that point.

Three days later I received a text from a different number asking me for a screenshot of the payment, which signaled more red flags because I already did that when I thought I purchased the puppy initially.

The recipient on the Zelle goes by the name Kelvin Ferreiras, however there’s a different name on the agreement. Furthermore, it appears that the mobile number changed as well from the initial communication.
