Windows defender message appeared on computer. Stated computer was locked and could be fixed by calling Microsoft at given number. When contacted they wanted access to computer to fix problem and it would cost $199.00 to fix. They were unable to gain access but went on to charge the fee. They were asked several times for the name of the company they never responded. Afterwards did research and found their name and complaints about scamming individuals. We did get them to cancel charges.
