My computer was due to have new malware/other maintenance performed. This company contacted me via email. I "suppoedly" had this maintenance done on the afternoon of 09-12-23, for a cost of $254.85. They called me back this morning (09-13-23) to see if all was OK, and to inform me that I had a "refund" of $150.00 coming back to me. I asked that it be credited back to the credit card that I had placed it on. They stated that they could not do that - that they would have to deposit into my direct bank account via the "world bank". Then they stated that there was a mistake: supposedly $15,000 had be deposited, not $150. Then they wanted me to withdraw $15,000 from my bank account and deposit it in a bitcoin ATM, I told them I was going to my local bank branch. They then disconnected from the call.
