I found an unknown charge on my account, with the following details. Date of Charge: 16 February 2024, Amount of Charge: 79.97, Vendor: POS/AMERICABEAUTYSU. I called the phone number on transaction details (866-735-6426 and spoke to "Kurt" at Customer Service, and I found out that the business operates under the name of "RED, WHITE, BLUE". I asked about the charge. Kurt said that I responded to a free flag offer, with shipping charges only (shipping equals 4.99). I recall placing this order. Kurt then advised that accepting the offer enrolled me into a rewards program with a monthly subscription service fee of $79.97. I told him this is incorrect. I ordered a flag from this company, and not a monthly subscription service. After I asked Kurt to cancel my service and refund to my account, Kurt wanted to negotiate the refund amount: first 30%, then 50%, then 75%. I pushed back on each statement and demanded a full refund of $79.97. I received an email that the order is cancelled and the $79.97 will be refunded. No money yet. The business email came from domain @patriotamericanstoreusa.com (Patriot American Store USA). I am confused, as there are three business names in play with this transaction. This business is operating under false and misleading methods. Three different business names. Selling political campaign materials (the flag was a TRUMP 2024 flag), but I doubt if any funds are going to the Trump campaign. The $79.97 monthly subscription rewards program is explained in fine details of Terms and Conditions. I do not remember T's & C's being advertised very well. Finally, the fact that the customer service rep tried to negotiate with me to accept a partial refund and not take the right action for a full refund at the first step. This is very dishonest.
