- Lafayette, IN, USA

I ordered hoodies from ruinsclub.com on a “Black Friday sale” and went to check the status of my order only for the entire website to have vanished. Upon a quick google search, I saw that multiple people reported this site as a scam. I called “customer service,” at 213-816-7409 (Los Angeles) and she could not answer a single question (tracking #, shipping carrier- said they had multiple stores, or merchant address). Asked for a refund and received confirmation email of that refund on 11/29/23. As of 12/6/23 still have not received the refund and am disputing the charge, although the tracking says my order is on the way (shipxpress.com). Decided to do an instagram search for ruins club, only to find images of the same hoodies I had ordered, under the account name “luxefitsclothes” as well as another account warning against ruins club as a scam. This other account showed a screenshot of the ruins club account, with the same #followers and bio as luxefitsclothes, meaning that the domain name was changed, which is why the website is now gone. My guess is the company racks up money on sales, and once they get found out, they change their website domain and their instagram handle. The phone number that showed on my card statement was from Miami, FL 786-321-9320 although the zip code was Los Angeles as is the main customer service number. I hope this helps others. Don’t trust tiktok or instagram ads.
