I saw an ad for SandySiren.co for digital journals that I followed and purchased. I later found out that they were illegally using another creator's content as their own, on top of not sending all of the content paid for and sneaking in a subscription service "14 day trial" that I didn't have access to due to needing a password they did not give with the purchase. My initial purchase was made on July 3, 2024 and was for $21.70. It is now 4 months later on November 5, 2024, and they attempted to charge my card $39.97. I have emails proving that I have not purchased anything else from them and that I immediately cancelled the membership they snuck in automatically with the purchase, not to mention, with the membership subscription, they begin charging your card after 14 days, not after 4 months. This entire site is a scam. I know I'm not the only person they have done this to, although I was fortunate enough that my bank caught the charge and reported it to me as a fraud alert before allowing them to just take the money out of my account. It appears that they are now selling crochet patterns that they have no doubt stolen from actual creators. Please do not buy ANYTHING from this company. They will keep your card stored and months later, when you least expect it, they will charge your card without consent, which is highly illegal. Customer support is a joke, but hopefully your bank will be able to resolve the matter, or, like mine did, catch the charge before it even comes out. I have reported them to the FTC as well as filing a scam alert on here, and I am begging anyone else who has been scammed by SandySiren.co to do the same. The more reports and information that the FTC gets on them, the quicker and easier they can go after them for their scam.
