They posted a remote researcher job in LinkedIn. I applied and received an email saying they wanted to talk, but wanted me to fill out a form to learn more about me. I did. At the end of the form, they wanted me to download a VPN--but it didn't check out as legit, that's when I started checking if this is a scam and found others have had this same experience. Luckily I didn't click on the download (it is a really convincing scam!), but I did waste 2 hours on their stupid form! Grrr!
